Work continues on the John Muntz Bridge with a convoy of trucks unloading rock and multiple excavators moving material into place. I've continued to push with the State Government to re enforce the riverbank and prioritise a solution to allow more water during flood events to traverse the roadway. TMR has not released any further updates since update #4

Quick drive out to Cedar Creek to check on road repairs to Beaudesert Beenleigh Road south of Shaws Pocket Road.

Dear residents, Construction contractor Golding is continuing the reconstruction effort on Tamborine-Oxenford Road. Temporary rock platforms have been constructed on both sides of the causeway to allow an excavator to reach under the bridge to commence the reconstruction of the damaged sections of Tamborine-Oxenford Road. Reconstruction works are expected to be completed by mid-2017.

Good afternoon The department's Road Asset Management Contractor Ventia Boral Amey Joint Venture will soon start road repairs and resurfacing works at various locations on Waterford-Tamborine Road, between Malling Street, Waterford and Stegemann Road, Buccan. These maintenance works will be undertaken at night between 6pm and 6am and are programmed to continue until mid-June 2017, weather permitting.
