Time for a community roadside at Upper Coomera, near the Upper Coomera Community Centre, Reserve Road.

Introducing our new OIC (Officer In Charge) at Coomera Police Station. Senior Sergeant Alisha Edwards started at Coomera Station only a couple of days ago, but she is very keen to learn about the community. Alisha is a long-serving Police Officer and has managed multiple police stations throughout her career.

It was a wet day to hit the pavement to update residents about Charles Crossing Road and Tamborine Oxenford Road intersection upgrade project. The Cenotaph will be relocated to Highland Reserve Park (at the top of the hill near the dog park ). We are still waiting on Main Roads to give us the design of the new intersection and a start date for the project.

Helensvale hosted our region's 2023/24 Severe Weather Review tonight with some very vocal residents in attendance. Cr Shelley Curtis and I heard residents relive harrowing memories of the Christmas Day storms and the path of destruction they left.
