Club Helensvale is hosting Mark Direen’s Point Assist (Point and Shoot) Photo exhibition with assistance from the North Gold Coast RSL Sub-Branch Inc. This exhibition will last two days and display incredible veteran photos from Vietnam to more recent conflicts. With honour they served.

Congratulations to all the new and returning officer-bearers at tonight's Guanaba Rural Fire Brigade Annual General Meeting. Brendan Gold will be the first officer for another two years.

I started the evening with a Lions Club of Helensvale meeting. The Lions are helping with a few upcoming events, such as the Spring Fair and School Fetes. There is a lot to organise.
