Jack Beasley Foundation annual lunch at Southport Sharks with The Helensvale Farmers Market team. The Jack Beasley Foundation (JBF) runs educational programs in our schools to educate students on the dangers of carrying weapons. Also, the Beasley Family have fought hard for changes to legislation, but there is so much more that needs to be done to stop knife crime

Thank you, Optus, for supporting The Meeting Place: Oxenford/Coomera Community Youth Centre Australia Day event. Also, a big shout out to the Northern Gold Coast Rotaract, Coomera Valley Rural Fire Brigade and Rotary Club of Coomera Valley for volunteering their time at today's event. It was super hot and humid! Tennis and Cricket on a big TV.

Congratulations to all the new Australians who pledged to become new Aussies today! Every year, the Lions Club of Helensvale hosts a citizenship ceremony at Helensvale to make this day memorable.
