289,657 Queenslanders were victims of crime in 2023, the highest in the nation and an increase of 13 per cent compared to the previous year.

The Palaszczuk-Miles Labor State Government has created a generation of criminals, and Queenslanders are paying a heavy price.

Community safety should be a primary responsibility of any State Government.

Liberal National Party has a comprehensive plan to reform youth justice and community safety legislation, ensure consequences for actions, put victims' rights first, remove detention as a last resort and improve education and offender rehabilitation programs.
