Last night, our Coomera Valley Rural Fire Brigade celebrated its 35th Birthday.
On 24 February 1990, the Coomera Valley Rural Fire started from humble beginnings. Its first fire Call was to extinguish a burning fence post, which multiple members attended with great enthusiasm.
Over the last 35 years, the members have changed, but their enthusiasm for serving the community has never diminished.
Brigade members have been sent far and wide, interstate and even overseas, to places like Canada to fight wildfires.
