3rd round of Federal Government Stimulus for workers and businesses.
$130 billion support package for as many as 6 million Australian workers whose livelihoods have been hit by the Coronavirus
This includes $1,500 per fortnight job keeper payments for employees of businesses who have lost 30 per cent or (50 per cent for business with annual earnings of $1 billion)
People eligible to receive the $1,500 payment include:
* Full-time workers
* Part-time workers
* Casual employees who have been with their employer for at least 12 months
* Sole traders
* New Zealanders on 444 visas (subject to eligibility)
Employees are encouraged to contact their employers as soon as possible to ensure they register to receive the subsidy.

Australian Banks
Australians who are in financial stress and unable to pay their mortgages should contact their lender. There is payment relief available.
The major banks have announced that their customers will be able to pause mortgage payments.
