Maudsland ANZAC Day Dawn Service Update

Many residents would know the Maudsland ANZAC Day Dawn Service next to the Coomera QCWA hall will not go ahead next year. Many community members have tried to convince the QCWA to reconsider their decision, to no avail
We need to acknowledge Geoffrey Benson for his 17 years as Master of Ceremony and for helping organise the Dawn Service with the assistance of the Lions Club of Helensvale
Therefore, we have been working on a potential solution. Multiple residents have suggested Cliff Bird Park could be a good location. It has good road access, overlooks the valley, and is approximately 8 acres in size.
