Perfect weather for Gemma's walk at Damian Leeding Park this morning. It's a great to see so many locals support this wonderful event every year. Plus there are some very cool raffle prizes (tinny and trailer), so come down and support this wonderful event and buy some raffle tickets.

Ormeau Lions Club weekly IGA BBQ was a great success, all profits will go to helping victims of the recent flooding event.

It was a great team effort by Coomera River Catchment Group today planting a few hundred trees along the Oxenford side of the Coomera River. The river bank has seen its fair share of erosion from the recent floods but most of the small trees previously planted have held up well.

Ormeau Lions Club IGA BBQ is over for another week. Thank you to all those who supported the Lions today. All funds goes to help flood victims.

CCWRFB & PCYC Emergency Services Cadets are running a donation centre from 9am on Saturday 8th April until 4pm at the Fire Station at 17 Vievers Rd, Wolffdene.
