Club Helensvale is hosting Mark Direen’s Point Assist (Point and Shoot) Photo exhibition with assistance from the North Gold Coast RSL Sub-Branch Inc. This exhibition will last two days and display incredible veteran photos from Vietnam to more recent conflicts. With honour they served.

It was a busy, wet, windy day out in the electorate; the Rotary Club of Coomera Valley end-of-the-month mini-book fair was on again today.

The Gold Coast Stamp and Coin Club Expo is at the Helensvale Community Centre Discovery Drive today. They have thousands of rare stamps, medals and coins. The expo goes through to 3:00 pm this afternoon.

The Rotary Club of Coomera Valley Mini Book Fair is today from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Rotary Shed, Leo Graham Way Oxenford.

Coomera River Catchment Association Inc planted another 1000 plants at today’s Regatta Waters Tree Plant. Over the last seven years, the community has planted 60,000 trees!

A big shout out to the crew from Ginger Indian Gourmet for helping and Naomi Fowler, Division 2, Gold Coast for always coming to the tree plants. Without all our volunteers helping, the tree plants would never happen. Thank-you all
